The NFL in Munich!

As many of you may know, I am half American and half German. I spent the first 13 years of my life in Germany. This is also the reason why I speak both languages pretty well today, but not perfectly like native speakers.

I have no special connection to Munich. We lived in the southwest of Germany, probably 250 miles or more from Munich. I visited the city only once, when we went to see a great aunt who lived in Bavaria. So I’m not even going to pretend to have any spectacular insider tips for the city ready. All I know is that I really liked the beer garden at the Chinese Tower in the English Garden.

Still, I’m kind of excited that the NFL is stopping in Germany for the first time for a regular season game. I’ll be watching Tom Brady on a German stream on Sunday morning while eating pretzels for breakfast. What about you guys?
