What would a Super Bowl be without a party?
I am eagerly preparing to host our Super Bowl LVII party with my husband and our daughters. Also, some close friends and their children will come. In total, we will be six adults and four kids. Will be quite cramped in our humble abode. 🙂
I cannot wait to watch the Eagles and the Chiefs battle it out on the field, but I have to admit I’m most excited about all the trappings. In this article, I will share with you my preparations for the big day, with a special focus on my love for the commercials.
The Setup
The first thing I did to prepare for our Super Bowl party was to set up the perfect viewing area. I made sure that everyone would be comfortable by arranging a mix of couches, chairs, and bean bag chairs for the kids. I also set up a second TV screen with high-quality soundbar to ensure that everyone could enjoy the game in style.
The Menu
No Super Bowl party is complete without delicious food and drinks. I put together a spread that includes classic game day favorites like chips and dip, wings, and pizza. To add some variety, I also prepared some unique items like bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers and sliders with homemade sauce. For drinks, I made sure to have a good selection of beer, soda, cocktails and mocktails so that everyone could find something they enjoy.
The Commercials
While some people tune in for the game alone, I am eagerly looking forward to the commercials. I love how creative and funny they are, and they have become an essential part of my Super Bowl experience. To make sure I don’t miss any of them, I set up a recording of the game so I can watch the commercials again later.
The Decorations
To add to the Super Bowl spirit, I have decorated our home with plenty of Arizona- and football-themed items. From banners and balloons to napkins and plates, everything has been carefully chosen to create the perfect game day atmosphere. I even picked up some fun props like foam fingers and pom-poms so that everyone can get into the spirit of the game.
